Check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 AM. If you require different times, please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Do you offer special dietary options?

No. The mountain air is nice and cool and we supply fans in the room for air circulation.

No. Its called Eco House for a reason. Made in nature, like nature, wooden houses, natural surroundings, natural environment, wild and beautiful. If you need luxury, book a resort hotel, if you want natural nature, trekking and seeing real vietnamese culture, then come here.

Are the rooms heated?

No. But the beds have electric blankets to keep you warm and cosy during winter.

Does everyone speak English?

Yes and No. Some do and some only a little. We use google translate if it becomes a major problem otherwise o far it's been okay.

Lua Cafe & ComLam Eco House began as a family dream. The owners, a local H’mong couple, wanted to create a space where travellers and locals could meet, share stories, and enjoy the bounty of their homeland. Inspired by the Vietnamese word “lúa,” meaning “rice,” the cafe pays homage to the golden terraces that define the region’s landscape. Their vision was simple: to serve honest, home-cooked food and the freshest local coffee, all while showcasing the natural splendour outside their doors. To also support their family both direct and indirect by working together with brothers, sister nephews and nieces, making it a true family tradition. To provide accommodation for those that just wanted to unwind and immerse into the culture and land.

Step inside Lua Cafe and you’ll find a warm, rustic interior, with wooden tables, handwoven textiles, and panoramic windows framing lush valleys and misty mountains. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly—don’t be surprised if the owners themselves greet you with a smile, eager to share a pot of tea or chat about life in the highlands.

Wow...i must say guy's...im definitely liking it here in Sapa, booking a sweet little combo hut in a small village of Lao Cai. ComLam Eco house, with a stunning mountain view, even better if you visit in the warmer season, you'll get less fog. Comlam Eco House is a very family friendly accommodation. It features very comfortable bungalows, an exquisite Restaurant and a gorgeous view into the valley. Staying there puts you right into the middle of tracking paths (everyone staying in Sapa directly either needs to drive here first or come here by foot).

I highly recommend this family stay in and would love to come back one day.

It was most amazing accommodation we ever had. The location overlooking the valley and rice fields is astonishing, and they offer tours with best guides in the neighborhood as well as they can help you book tickets for bus to Hanoi. They always smile and the atmosphere in this place is so relaxing, even if you are here for short time you feel like you can disconnect from every trouble. And there are puppies 🙈 local salmon hot pot was incredibly tasty, and they offer very good breakfasts - omelet is the best we've ever had.

Loved our stay here. Perfect for a few days of respite after the Ha Giang loop. Great base for a few treks too.

Spectacular view too, in a great location that somehow avoids looking over all ugly buildings below like many resorts look over.

Super peaceful, sitting with a drink, nice food, metres away from rice terraces with water buffalo and chickens, looking over nice views with a distant waterfall.
